This is not your average vintage Bianchi. That electric fuchsia frame turns heads before you even get close — pure 1980s race energy in a color that was never subtle and was never meant to be. But the real story is under the paint.

This Sport SX carries what collectors call "Terry geometry" — a design pioneered by Georgena Terry, the groundbreaking American bicycle designer who in the mid-1980s transformed cycling for smaller riders. The solution was elegant: a standard 700c rear wheel paired with a smaller 24" front wheel, which shortens the reach without compromising handling or proportion. Bianchi adopted this geometry for their smallest Sport SX frames, and examples in this condition are genuinely rare. Most serious vintage cyclists have never seen one in person.

It also carries the "Campione del Mondo 1986–1987, Colorado Springs" World Championship commemorative decal and the beautiful Edoardo Bianchi eagle crest badge. This is a collector's bike dressed up as a badass daily rider — and it does both jobs perfectly.

  • Excellent for its age. The fuchsia paint remains vibrant with no significant damage to the frame. Like any vintage bike that has been stored rather than ridden, it will benefit from a basic tune-up before hitting the road — brakes, derailleurs, cables checked and lubed. Any bike shop can have it road-ready in under an hour for around $75, or the hands-on owner can do it themselves. Everything is original and accessible.
