This is one of the oldest and most historically significant Pan Am amenity kits you will find. Dating to the mid-1970s, this First Class kit was created in partnership with Caron — one of the most revered French parfumeries, founded in Paris in 1904 at 104 Rue de Richelieu. When Pan Am wanted to signal true luxury to their First Class passengers, they went to Caron.

The navy blue plastic folding case — stamped "Caron, Paris, Made in France" in gold on the interior — opens to reveal two of Caron's most celebrated fragrances. Pour Un Homme, created in 1934, is considered one of the great masterpieces of men's perfumery and is still revered by fragrance collectors worldwide. Infini, the women's counterpart, is equally distinguished. Both bottles retain their original liquid. Also included is the original Caron Pour Un Homme soap bar in its elegant black embossed case.

The detail that makes this kit extraordinary: the original Parfums Caron quality control ticket — "104 Rue de Richelieu Paris" — is included. A paper artifact from Caron's legendary Paris headquarters, traveling from there to a Pan Am First Class cabin, and now to you. That's a remarkable chain of custody for a small piece of history.
